Welcome to Affordable Acupuncture in Brixton, the low cost multi-bed clinic for the community

Feel free to call us or email us too to chat about whether acupuncture could help your condition.  Acupuncture is often really useful for conditions that conventional doctors can't help.  However, we work alongside conventional medicine and always recommend you see your GP first.
  • This low-cost clinic is modelled on a treatment environment commonly seen in China, with several beds in one room separated by privacy screens. This way, more than one patient can be treated at a time, which means room rent is lower, and that prices can therefore be significantly lower than typical one-to-one treatments.  Patients also benefit from a friendly and positive community atmosphere.  We are also members of the Association of Community and Multibed Acupuncture Clinics (ACMAC).
    Acupuncture can be hard to afford as it is usually offered in one-to-one private sessions, and it is rarely available through the NHS.  Hopefully this is changing though!  Patient surveys have shown that many people who use multi-bed clinics enjoy the sense of space and sharing that these clinics can provide. They can also promote a sense of community, and empower patients to think positively about their abilities to improve their own conditions. By bringing together a wide range of people in a shared space, an amazing community spirit emerges in multi-bed acupuncture clinics. Patients consistently report that they like the sense of togetherness and humanity they find there.
  • Acupuncturists at Brixton Acupuncture are fully accredited and insured with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the leading self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture in the UK. 

  • Clinic opening times are currently Tuesday Mornings 9:00am - 1:00pm. We would like to extend our hours in the future if there is sufficient demand. Please let us know if you are interested and we'll keep you posted.
